Delivering on our Sankalp

We propose to fulfill our objective largely through financial support. Many students drop out after high school or junior college, or compromise their passion for education and a better life due to lack of funds. At the same time, there are donors who wish to lend a helping hand and are looking for trusted, capable, and well-governed social organizations to work with. We aim to bridge this gap by creating a trusted platform that provides scholarships for students and opportunities for education donation. Donors can donate for child education, helping us identify deserving students and support them through their graduation or vocational skilling programs. This eases financial stress and allows students to focus on building stable and promising futures for themselves and their families.

Our implementation network

The Board of Trustees of Sankalp Trust carefully vets all applications for financial support. Each member generously dedicates time to understand the capabilities and temperament of every student, providing mentorship and guidance to help them achieve their potential. With backgrounds in engineering, information sciences, architecture, and business management, the trustees bring multi-disciplinary expertise to support aspirants. Through this process, the Board ensures that scholarships for students are effectively distributed and encourages donors to contribute through education donation or donate for child education initiatives, creating meaningful opportunities for talented students.

Selection Criteria

We are looking for consistent performers through middle and high school. Consistency signals stability and dedication, ensuring quality results and success.

Before disbursing funds, we examine the financial position of the student’s family to confirm genuine need. All applications are routed through well-known references who are also responsible for initial screening. This ensures that scholarships for students are awarded to those who truly deserve them.

We also consider a young person’s Emotional Quotient, assessing internal motivation, self-regulation, and self-awareness to identify students with the greatest potential.

Our support is agnostic, with no bias toward gender, faith, community, or personal beliefs. We focus solely on the future impact the student can bring to society and the ability to uplift their family and community.

Through education donation and opportunities to donate for child education, we aim to provide resources, mentorship, and scholarships to deserving students.

While we propose to prioritize Vizianagaram, the city of our alma mater, we do not limit ourselves geographically. Our skills, mentorship, and funds are directed wherever they are most needed.
